Zaven Kouyoumdjian is an established Lebanese media personality, talk show host and producer, best-selling author, media consultant, researcher and university instructor at LAU since 2002.

Regarded as a defining voice of modern Arab television, Zaven is best known for his direct interviewing style and progressive approach to complex issues. His pan-Arab, top-rated talk show Sire Wenfatahit (1999–2018) is credited with shaping the social TV genre, influencing modern social talk shows and bridging the gap between traditional and digital media.

Zaven is the CEO of ZAK Media House, a branding and production agency, and the author of six books, including Lebanon Shot Twice, a Lebanese classic and best-seller that reached its fifth edition in 2019. He is currently working on his seventh book, exploring modern Lebanese television and its influence on the pop culture and political landscape of post-war Lebanon.
